I'm a Dutch artist working mainly in pastels. I've started drawing when I was a kid, first Disney figures and later on horses. I discovered pastels when I was 14, we needed to make an assignment with it in class. I immediatly fell in love with this medium. Combined with my love for nature and animals my hobby was born.
I'm selftaught and still learning. I love to try out new things allthough I also know some mediums aren't for me.
I'm currently working with, offcourse, pastels, oils and acrulics.
I admire people who can work digitally. I really don't understand how you work when you draw a line on one place and see it somewhere else. I've tried it, but wasn't succesfull.
I love fantasy art, but I still a bit scared to paint what I imagine.
I'm a dreamer but trying to make them become true.
I'm married, living in the northern of the Netherlands with my husband Siemen, dog Amber and 5 cats Veejay, Page, Thomas, Bella and Humpy. As you can see I'm gonna be a mom soon, we're epxecting a daughter in December.
